Riveting! Enlightening! Extraordinary!
Those aforementioned words are an attributive attempt to describe the excellence of the 2017 Revolt Music Conference. The four day festival was filled with many insightful takeaway’s, extreme networking opportunities and just the right amount of partying.
The fourth annual conference took place at Eden Roc Resort in Miami, Florida this year, and featured performances by French Montana, King Combs, 2 Chainz, Daniel Caesar, Lauryn Hill, Sza & more. The panels were dominated by industry heavy weights who were straightforward in their delivery of sharing vital information to value & utilize in everyday endeavours. Each and every panel was significant as the handpicked panelist and moderators were on fire and enthused about sharing their personal stories, & trusted advice.
The conference had plenty of exciting moments such as the power of the Hip Hop vs. Trump panel, the fun and excitement that took place at the Opening Ceremony, the joy and laughter experienced at the 90’s party; however, the highlight of the conference was the Gala event honoring Hip Hop vet & legend, Queen Latifah. The event’s production staff didn’t miss a beat. They did an amazing job at visually recounting the life and legacy of the Queen, as the room blared with Queen Latifah hits and filled hearts with reminiscent bliss, an extreme feeling of nostalgia. Diddy and singer Monica took the stage to share their personal stories about the Queen bringing laughter and warmth to the room. Sza and Daniel Caesar put on incredible performances too, just before Miss Lauryn Hill took the stage and closed out the show, impressively. She went through her catalog of hits with a live band and sent chills up the spines of each and every attendee. It was magical!
The 2017 Revolt Music Conference was phenomenal. The overall hospitality of the Revolt staff was overwhelming. We commend them, the panelist, the performers & even the security and the bartenders for making this conference an unforgettable, inspiring, and career altering experience. It was a well-organized and timely event – I couldn’t name one hiccup if I tried. I can guarantee everyone went home with a greater sense of self, a sharper career plan & a new scorching flame flickering inside of them.
We can’t wait to see what they have in store for next year.
