Serena Williams Dresses In Special Virgil Abloh For French Open

On Instagram last week, Virgil Abloh showed off a blue pair of Off-White x Nike Air Force 1’s, called “For Serena Only.”

During the French Open Serena Williams worn his unique designs on the courts. This collaboration with Williams quickly made headlines everywhere just like her win in Russia’s Vitalia Diatchenko. She was dressed in a monochromatic Nike sports-top and skirt. “Mother, champion, queen and goddess” were printed on her alongside other expressive designs. It looked like Williams was struggling in the first match. She made 14 errors and finished the first set with a score of 2-6, while catching up quickly after the break going 6-1 in the second.

The third set capped Diatchenko with no quarter as Williams found footing and ended the match with a shocking 6-0. As usual Williams doesn’t disappoint and carries a good game. Supposedly Serena’s outfit hasn’t caused too much controversy unlike the catsuit she was dressed in last year. She wore that to limit blood clots that she coping with since the birth of her daughter.

Although the tennis superstar may appear all good now but she still seems vigilant of her left knee. Throughout the match with Diatchenko, Serena appeared to be reaching for shots more than her regular thumping that we would ordinarily see, which may have been a reason why she had a slow start.
