Luxe takes on some of our favorite athletic performance sneakers have become standard in the footwear realm in recent years, especially when it comes to Jordan Brand. The Air Jordan I Satin ‘Banned’, ‘Royal’, and ‘Shattered Backboard’ have all done extremely well in regards to sales and the resale market. Now, it looks like the Jumpman is preparing to curate another series of satin constructed sneakers utilizing Michael Jordan’s fifth signature silhouette. With that said, check out the Air Jordan V Satin ‘Bred’ set to drop this fall in the images provided below.

The Air Jordan V Satin ‘Bred’ features a sleek/luxe black satin constructed base complete with a 3M reflective ‘Metallic Silver’ tongue. Transparent lacelocks sit at the center of the sneaker’s vamp while ‘University Red’ detailing hits the embroidered Jumpman logo at the tongue of the performance sneaker, speckled midsole, insole.

The P-51 Mustang-inspired midsole teeth come in a contrasting black hue, as the sneaker’s patented synthetic netting comes in a translucent hue to match the icy translucent outsole of the kicks. This particular rendering of the sneaker embodies luxury but will the satin construction of the silhouette be able to stand the test of time? We’ll find out soon.

Come November 2018, the Air Jordan V Satin ‘Bred’ is set to hit select Jordan Brand retailers and online platforms for a retail price tag of $190. Drop your thoughts on the sneakers in the comment section below.
