One of my favorite artists, Ariana Grande recently dropped her star-packed music video for “thank u, next,” which dropped on Thursday afternoon (November 30). Grande broke the record for most views on YouTube in 24 hours and become the biggest video ever on YouTube’s Premiere platform. That’s definitely something exciting for her and the Arianators!
She just brought a different vibe to her new visuals, making homages to iconic 2000s flics like Mean Girls, Legally Blonde, Bring It On and 13 Going on 30 just to name a few. This has been the biggest video on YouTube’s Premiere platform. She boasts a total of 47 million views and counting moving past BTS’ visual for “Idol”!
Not to mention there were more than 829,000 or more simultaneous viewers watching this amazing project that everyone was waiting for. Since its debut, several stars from the original films, including Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Garner, have hopped on social media to share their praise over this dope visual!
Besides the celebrity cameos from Kris Jenner, Troye Sivan, Legally Blonde’s Jennifer Coolidge, Mean Girls’ own Aaron Samuels, Jonathan Bennett, just name to name a few, the viral video has another good reason for all the hype.
You can watch the visuals here:
