Beyoncé’s Formation World Tour wrapped at New Jersey’s MetLie Stadium on Oct. 7. After 49 shows in the U.S. and Europe, the tour with multiple sold out shows grossed $256,084,556 and sold 2.2 million tickets worldwide.
The tour averaged $5.2 million in gross and 45,757 paid attendance per a show. The highest grossing dates were the two sold out shows in July at Wembley Stadium. The two nights banked $15 million, while the highest-grossing U.S. date was at New York’s Citi Field, with just over $11 million.
The final show in New Jersey had muliple special guests for the first time in the tour’s history. Queen Bey brought out Serena Williams to dance to Sorry, Kendrick Lamar for Freedom and Jay Z for Drunk In Love. Rumors have circulated that the New Orleans show featuring bounce music artist, Big Freedia was filmed for an upcoming HBO special, but neither HBO or reps for Beyoncé’ have confirmed at this time.
