Lil’ Wayne brought back the Weezyana Festat at Champions Square in New Orleans and is also celebrating his tenth anniversary of the Carter III album. To fans’ surprise, Birdman came on stage and apologized to Lil’ Wayne at the festival . He had special guest appearances by Young Jeezy, Tory Lanez and NBA Youngboy.

While on stage, Birdman says:
“It feels amazing to be home fucking with my son, I love that nigga to death. I don’t know what y’all know but I know what the fuck I know and I know how I feel about what I know,” Birdman told the crowd. “I knew this day was gon’ come but I ain’t know when it was gon’ come. But this nigga right chea? The best nigga, the most real nigga, the illest nigga. And I wanted to apologize to my nigga worldwide.”
After the apology, both Birdman and Lil’ Wayne performed the hit single “Still Fly.” It is no secret that the two have paired the separate ways by squashing the beef after the settlement back in June. We get to finally hear the Carter V after many promotions of the album.
