After sharing his introspective “Life Is.” single, Brooklyn-based Hip-Hop recording artist, Yury quickly returns with a refreshingly lyrical track titled “Acetate.” Sampling a Toronto musician who took his life, Yury began producing the song from a simple guitar melody.

Originally hailing from Pittsburgh, Yury is a Hip-Hop artist, songwriter, producer, and DJ that now resides in Brooklyn. Similar to Atlanta’s Russ, Yury takes pride in being a one-stop shop and doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. From co-headlining Webster Hall to selling out Knitting Factory, and producing for Grammy-winning artists, Yury is gradually creating a name for himself.

Arguably one of the most multitalented artists rising from Brooklyn, Yury is constantly sharpening his unapologetically genuine sound. Influenced by a variety of Hip-hop acts including Dave East, 6lack, and Big Sean, Yury strives, to be honest with all of his music.

With this latest offering, Yury steps away from trap and focuses more on piercing lyricism through the atmospheric production. Check it out below and let us know what you think!
