Chance the Rapper decided to give back for his 24th birthday. Chance sent out invitations for his party in which he titled, “Chance the Birthday” which became an event to benefit his non-profit organization. The party tickets ranged from $100 to $2,500 for general admission and VIP seating. Although these prices were pretty high, each and every ticket was sold.
Ludacris and T-Pain performed as well as Big Bird from Sesame Street. Chance launched his organization, “SocialWorks” in 2016. Chance says the intention is “to empower youth through the arts, education, and civic engagement while fostering leadership, accessibility, and positivity within the youth throughout Chicago.”
More than $100,000 was raised for the organization off of the tickets.
Big up’s to Chance the Rapper.
