Chance the Rapper has been doing his thing when it comes to being a positive role model and giving back to the community. He has just announced that an art and literature fund will be coming to Chicago. He made the announcement at Paul Robeson High School, in Chicago.

Chance said,

“We all know that Illinois’ education system is one of the most underfunded in the nation. I’m excited to announce the creation, in collaboration with the Children First Fund, of the New Chance Arts & Literature Fund.  I’m glad that I got this microphone and I’m glad that you guys keep coming out to hear the stories and that you guys keep reporting on what is going on here.”

Chance believes that the school systems have a “greatest need for arts.” He also encouraged everyone to get involved. He went on to say, “We are committed to giving the kids as much as we can.” Aside from that, he mentioned a  donation of $1 million from the Chicago Bulls to the CPS foundation.

This is awesome!
