Philadelphia rapper DAPPA is back with his brand new video for his latest track “On To Somethin”. Set in his hometown, the video shows DAPPA enjoying the company of his team as he introspectively raps about the ups and downs in his journey to greatness. Director Lay Tahir captures DAPPA’s essence perfectly as a man on a mission to elevate himself and those around him.

“On To Somethin” is one of the many powerful tracks off of DAPPA’s EP- Thanks For Nothin, which also includes “Touchin Bases” featuring Stalley and his inspirational anthem “Smile For A Smile”. DAPPA is certainly more than a rapper though. The renaissance man just finished starring in the Showtime documentary ‘Teddy Pendergrass: If You Don’t Know Me’ where played legendary soul singer Teddy Pendergrass. He’s also an entrepreneur heavily in involved in his community. DAPPA’s Young With Options brand operates a daycare center in North Philly and creates programming to further his belief of empowering the youth, ownership, and entrepreneurship.

DAPPA is making a name for himself in entertainment and his Philadelphia community. As the culture still mourns the loss of Nipsey Hussle, it’s reassuring to see the next generation of artists following in his footsteps.
