We’ve all been waiting for the release of Dave East‘s debut album, Paranoia. It looks like we’ll be getting that LP in two weeks.
The Harlem spitter took to his Twitter account to reveal what seems to be the artwork for the forthcoming project as well as the release date which is August 18. If you don’t recognize where the inspiration came from for the artwork then you seriously need to do your homework. As iconic as the original Malcolm X photo is, Dave East took it and put his own spin on it to make it look more modern and up to date.
Dave East has been having a stellar year thus far. He has released multiple freestyles under his East Mix staple as well as making tons of guest appearances on other records. He recently dropped a very dope summer time track for the ladies called “Perfect” which also features R&B sensation, Chris Brown. With Paranoia a few weeks away from dropping, “Perfect” is looking like a dope first single.
Check out the tweet below. Are you looking forward to hearing Paranoia? Who do you think will feature on the project?
