Beating out a closely second Jay Z as this year’s Hip-Hop Cash King. It’s been recognized by Forbes magazine that iconic music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs is also the 2017 highest-paid entertainer.

Beating out some really big names like Taylor Swift, Beyonce, and The Weeknd. Diddy fended off the competition this year accumulating an impressive $130 million dollars through his business ventures among his Sean John, Bad Boy, and Ciroc imprints.

In 12-months, Cassie‘s boyfriend sold one-third of clothing brand Sean John for an estimated $70 million. While continuing to successful thrive his Ciroc vodka partnership and hit the road with 25th anniversary “Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour” to help bring in steady cash.

Diddy has partnered with Apple Music to release a new documentary on himself and his Bad Boy empire in celebration of the 25-years of hitmaking.

In honor of topping the list, Diddy went to Instagram with an inspiring acceptance speech that simply said the following:
