As we remember the release of Fabolous’ debut album Ghetto Fabolous on this day in 2001, we’re reminded that Fabolous has forever been regarded as one of rap’s fashion icons. One look at his Instagram and you’ll see that even as he’s nearing age 40, he still remains to be one of the flyest to ever do it.
Fabolous has been known to work with streetwear brands in the past; from collaborations with Kith, to Reebok, to New Balance. Fab’s latest collab is with FILA, in the form of a pair of FILA Original Fitness sneakers with the words, “The Family”, written on the heel tab, as you can see below:
This isn’t the first time Fab has worked with FILA; back in 2016 he showed off a similar pair of FILAs which were created in collaboration with Roc Nation:
Unfortunately, the Roc Nation FILAs weren’t made available to the public and at this moment it’s unknown whether these new ones will either. Check back with The RapFest for updates on its possible release and in the meantime be sure to check out Fab’s latest single “Flipmode“, featuring Chris Brown and Velous.
