Fight or Flight?

18-year old Zemarcuis Scott, who was arrested back in July 2018 for attempting to steal a commercial jet in order to attend a Famous Dex concert, has plead guilty to attempted theft of property and commercial burglary.

Scott has received a five-year term of Felony probation for the charges (as reported by the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette). Aside from having to pay the cost of court, Scott had also been ordered to pay a hefty $1,000 fine and undergo a mental-health evaluation.

Scott informed investigators that he was planning on stealing a plane for some time. I’m going to assume it’s safe to say that the Famous Dex concert was the last straw. The daring attempt was made around 2:30 a.m on Independence Day at the Texarkana Regional Airport. Scott was definitely determined in his efforts, as he was already in the pilot’s seat by the time authorities had arrived.

Scott plead innocent and was later found “competent” after undergoing psychological evaluation back in December.

I’m not entirely too sure what would possess someone to steal a plane, especially considering it’s no walk in the park. However, Dex was certainly impressed as he took to Instagram on Monday morning to show appreciation of his fans unwavering support.
