French Montana recently got dragged for using the word “nappy” while speaking on the hair of a woman who came for him over social media.

It all started when a woman tweeted, “The fact that French Montana thinks anyone cares about him.. 😫” French Montana was not in the mood for any shenanigans as he came back super hard. French responded saying, “U musty crusty dusty rusty ass hoe With them nappy ass poetic justice braids take your cum drinking Dick banging ass somewhere n be humble 🙏

Montana spoke on the situation saying “”I’m not from the era where anybody say something and you don’t say nothing back.” He said he wasn’t using the word “nappy” to offend more than one person. He said, “I said that to her. I didn’t say that to [every black woman]. I love my Queens, you know what I’m saying? But I just, you know, I can’t take it when somebody tries to come at me, and then I clap back.”

When speaking on racism, Montana says “I don’t know why they turned it to, like, a racist thing. There’s other things to worry about that’s really racist out here in this country. I’m just defending myself. You can’t defend yourself out here no more? I ain’t know ‘nappy’ was a racist word.”

What are your thoughts on the matter?  Was French wrong for calling the woman’s hair nappy?  Do celebs have the right to defend themselves when they too get attacked?
