With his self-titled album now available in the US, the usually reserved Future sat down with Zane Lowe and opened up about numerous different topics. During the interview, he talked about taking time off from releasing music so that he could develop a new sound, flows, and melodies. He also said that he wanted to go back to being more underground on this project and reconnect with his fans. He revealed that his new “FUTURE” album is the re-introduction to his “Future Hendrix” persona. This is what he had to say about it: “Now is the time, two to three years they weren’t ready, they wanted Future.” “They wanted me to be the ratchet-est, to say the most disrespectful shit.”
