If there’s one place to find emerging talent, it’s Brooklyn. From rap veterans like JAY-Z and Fabolous to newer comers like Cousin Stizz, the New York area is a goldmine. Most recently, Albanian rapper GASHI released his self-titled project of the same name. It expands across 16 tracks and features artists like French Montana, Maxx Owa, G-Eazy, and more.
The debut includes pre-release singles like “My Year,” “Safety,” and “Disrespectful,” which dropped two years back. Sonically, each song gives you a different glimpse of GASHI’s life. It’s like peeling an onion, once you reach the core, you’ll see the bulb. Recently, the Roc Nation signee also revealed that he was a garbage man when he inked his deal with the major label.
