NEW YORK, NY  — After a three-year hiatus, Harlem’s best kept secret BWLR aka Rugz D. Bewler
is bringing light to the duality of each of us in giving vice and virtue with this release his latest project The Beautiful Loser on Saturday, May 5th.

With all the hype surrounding street culture and an ever-present theme of spotlight and success, BWLR gives us a harmonized lyrical score to the movie of life through the eyes of a true New Yorker; a reality where there is beauty in the struggle.  With his mellow arrogance, BWLR highlights the duality of our nature by giving us vice and virtue in The Beautiful Loser.

The Beautiful Loser aims to provide insight into BWLR’s experiences for the past three years, real and imagined. He seamlessly blends his background in film with his musical aptitude to give you a musical score to the storyline that is The Beautiful Loser.

Featured on Sway In The Morning, Hot 97’s Who’s Next stage, BET’s Backroom Freestyle, and other outlets, BWLR has accepted the call to be on the frontline for his city, and is in this for the long-hall.  He’s no leader but has been called to lead; he’s no god but has been called to show the divinity within himself and others; he’s no greater but continues to build greatness in his music and through his interactions. With this score, BWLR’s encompasses “The Beautiful Loser.”

While the album is slated to drop tomorrow, May 5th, The Beautiful Loser is available for pre-sale now on

iTunes and Apple Music.
