Brooklyn rapper started making noise last summer when he dropped his street hit “Don’t Run.” The buzzing single caught the ear of Memphis Bleek and landed him a deal with Warehouse Music Group/Roc Nation. After dropping his TaxStone dedicated track “Tax Letter“, Casanova surprised his fans this week by dropping his debut mixtape entitled “Be Safe Tho”.  While it is true that the tape experienced a few dozen leaks over the past few months, fans were still eager to hear the full track list.  The 11 track project features Chris Brown (whose rapping) and Lo on “OHB”, and production by The Heatmakerz, Jahlil Beats, Reefa, Teddy Da Don, 183RD, Streetrunner, and Fortes.

Throughout the project, Casanova’s flow can be described as somewhat aggressive and rough; with some saying his style of lyricism vaguely resembles another Brooklyn native, Busta Rhymes.
