Back in December, Drake announced that he would be dropping a new project that he referred to as a ‘playlist’ at the end of the month titled, “More Life.” The “playlist” didn’t end up dropping like he said but he released three singles “Fake Love,” “Sneakin” featuring 21 Savage, and “Two Birds One Stone”, which found Drake taking shots at Kid Cudi and apparently Pusha T.
But after a few delays and months of anticipation, Drake finally releases his new project “More Life” today. The 22 track playlist is curated by the October Firm consisting of Drake and his manager, Oliver. The project features the previously released single “Fake Love,” and includes guest appearances from Giggs, Black Coffee, Jorja Smith, Sampha, Young Thug, 2 Chainz, Quavo, Travi$ Scott, Kanye West and PARTYNEXTDOOR; with production handled by 40, T-Minus, Vinylz, Frank Dukes, Murda Beatz, Boi-1da, and more.
In Drake’s words, “More Life” was designed to feel like an episode of OVO Sound Radio. also revealing,
“The style in which it’s being put together is based off our concept that is OVOSOUND Radio.” “I love the way it’s put together. It’s really put together as a seamless listen. Basically, what I asked myself was, ‘What would happen if I just did an OVOSOUND Radio but every song was a new Drake song?’ That was kind of my idea for it.’”
