We all know Madeintyo for his hit single “Uber Everywhere”, but it seems like he has lost interest in supporting the car service company after Trump banned Muslims from entering the U.S. As of January 29th, the young hip hop rapper will be standing behind CEO Logan Green who is responsible for creating “Lyft”, another car service that’s been giving Uber a bit of competition.
Lyft doesn’t think it’s right for people to be discriminate or banned from being able to do something based off their race, sexuality, ethnicity, identity, or religious beliefs. Green stated, “The company stands firmly against these actions, and will not be silent on issues that threaten the values of our community.” Furthermore he announced that he will be donating $1 million over the next four years to ACLU to defend our constitution.
This is what motivated Madeintyo to get down with Lyft’s movement and become a supportive fan. He made it very clear via Twitter that he used to use Uber a lot but will not be using their service anymore due to the support of Trump’s Muslim Ban.
“2017: @Lyft Everywhere,” he tweeted out.
