When the news broke in January that WorldStarHipHop founder Lee “Q” O’Denat had suddenly passed away at only 43 years old, it was a shock to the entire Hip Hop community.
O’denar was reported as to have experienced chest pains while visiting a massage parlor in San Diego where he lost consciousness and paramedics were called, however, was unable to be revived upon attempts to bring him back. Now with the investigation conducted by the San Diego medical examiner completed , LA Times has revealed that O’Denat’s cause of death was in fact due to “natural causes” dealing with obesity; a result of plaque build-up surrounding his heart.
Upon the moguls visit to VIP Spa, after a 30 minute massage, the masseuse left O’Denat to get dressed and found him in a slumped over position as she returned. At 345-lbs at his time of death, O’Denat was reported to have suffered from an unspecified heart problem where he was taking medication prior to.
And although not the cause of his death, toxicologists also found traces of marijuana but no other drugs or alcohol were detected.
