Iggy Azalea dropped her sophomore album In My Defense last week. The project arrives on the heels of Iggy being a freshly independent artist, as she recently inked a joint venture with EMPIRE for her very own label Bad Dreams Records. Today, The New Classic artist shares visual for her Kash Doll-assisted single “Fuck It Up.”
The visuals pay homage to the 1997 movie Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. Iggy is not new to referencing the ‘90s theme, it was used in her breakout hit single “Fancy.” The video sees Kash Doll and Iggy twerking, cruising down the street, visiting a diner, and lastly, “fucking it up” at a high-school reunion. There’s also a video cameo from model and actress Nikita Dragun.
In My Defense is executive produced by J. White Did It and boasts features from Lil Yachty, Juicy J, and Stini. The 12-track offering was originally titled Digital Distortion, but according to Azalea, it was completely shelved. It arrives five years after her debut album The New Classic.
