With bringing some of the entertainment industries high-profile, power players into one room, Nemas Boom Boom Room once again proves why her reign has been supreme during her 5 year run in NYC.

On Tuesday, June 5th 2018 – Top NYC event curator Nema Kamar was able to gather amazing talent to showcase their extraordinary musical talents at Slate in NYC where NBA champion, Iman Shumpert proved that he is a talented MC who’s passion exudes from every pore of his body as he was born to entertain.  In addition to Iman’s impressive performance, the amount of star power which filled the venue was impressive too as some of the esteemed guest included singer/songwriter Neyo, NBA players Kyrie Irving & Kenyon Martin,  Lenny S of Roc Nation, Ty Hunter (Designer/Stylist), Wayne Brown (VP HartBeat Productions), Lisa Evers (FOX News/Hot 97) Jay Andino (VP, Sony/Orchard), executive & author June Archer and many more.

G.O.O.D. Music’s Teyana Taylor‘s husband’s performance left the audience in awe with his stage presence comparable to any seasoned veteran in the Music world. We might agree that he is the one to watch when it comes to the future of hip hop!

And kudos to the opening acts too, as they were all incredibly talented as well: Niki Darling opened the show with a classic Lauryn Hill song “Doo Wop” followed by two of her original songs. Her powerful vocals, rhyme skills and performance let the audience know this was the start of a show they would never forget. Then Sasha Lance hit the stage singing “Love Galore” by SZA and hypnotized the audience. Her sultry vocals and sexy dance moves as she performed her new single “Pull Up” proved this rising star is here to stay.  It was a well put-together line-up of which Iman headlined the stage.

The Sacramento King who has ample time right now to push his 6-track debut EP, ‘Substance Abuse’ of which he stood to promote at Nema’s Boom Boom Room last week was released back in April, but while only just now dropping his solo project, the baller-turnt-rapper was known to tinker the lines of dropping music for some years now as he has remixed a number of popular tracks like “Hotline Bling” and “Jumpman” in the past.

Hosted by comedian Jonathan Martin who kept the flow of the show moving smoothly while making the crowd laugh, Nemas Boom Boom Room had the drinks & tasty treats were flowing too, thanks to sponsors Martell and the culinary creations by celebrity Chef Daryl Harmon who put smiles on everyone’s faces.

Nemas Boom Boom Room has become the place where stars are born, connections are cultivated and the excitement never ends.
