Comedy brothers Eric & Jeff Rosenthal, also known as ItsTheReal have been involved in the hip hop community for over 10 years. Their weekly podcast is easily one of the top-10 must-listens out right now.

ItsTheReal recently dropped their debut album titled Teddy Bear Fresh. The album shows that even though it falls into the comedy section of rap, their rhymes and metaphors are cleverly pieced together, forcing you to take them more seriously.

In their single “Dave Matthews Bands,” they cleverly boast:

“Disrespectful money, paper keep cuttin’ my hands/ Countin’ white faces, I got Dave Matthews Bands.”

After crossing over into the podcast game over 5 years ago, they’ve used their comedic guise to record great hip hop music as well. Just to be clear, this is NO WAY near The Lonely Island or Afroman, they actually have bars.

In 2013, the Rosenthals dropped Urbane Fitters Vol 1, which was actually hosted by DJ Drama. The tape featured Bun B and Freeway, which were both dope songs.

Now in 2017, The 11-track album features hip hop icons like Angie Martinez, Bun B, Curren$y, Smoke DZA, and more.

If you’re fans of their podcast, comedic rap, or clever bars, you definitely won’t be disappointed when you listen to this project. Check it out below.
