Atlanta transplant, rapper Jabo drops new video for single “Water Whippin” featuring ATL street legend Young Scooter.

The stars are starting to align for Birmingham born rapper Jabo, who’s currently chasing out his dreams in Atlanta.  Already creating a movement down South, having worked with artists like Yo Gotti, Jadakiss, Slim Thug and more, the next wave of singles is being geared up to release.

Produced by BeatsXKd, the song came together during a recent trip to Atlanta, already having a rough version of the song put together and was just looking for the right piece to complete it. Bumping into Scooter at Future’s new studio, knowing eachother through mutual acquaintances, the pair walked into the Ferrari room and the next thing you know Scooter laced a verse on “Water Whippin”.

“‘The Trap Gods’ were aligning the stars for me,” exclaimed Jabo.

Directed by Cricket of The RiskTakerZ (i.e. Future, Young Thug, 2 Chainz, Gucci Mane etc.), Jabo told XXL, “The inspiration for the video was simply the streets, by bringing to life a dope visual that showed the dichotomy of turning nothing into something.” Continuing off that statement he also adds, “The video has raw, edgy elements combined with a level of sophistication that Cricket of The RiskTakerZ helped bring to life, and I knew he was a perfect fit to direct this due to the quality of work he’s done for everyone in Atlanta.”

For the future, Jabo is now more focused as ever.
