Harlem representer Jay Prezi kicked off summer 2018 with his debut John John: MCLXXV which was well received. Now coming off the heels of a Nike campaign from connections he made back in his days playing basketball for Purchase, the rising rapper is back with a brand new EP titled blood.sweat.tears.

The 7 track project finds Jay moving out of his comfort zone with songs like “Doop Doop” and the experimental track “The Curve” but still sounding right at home. The EP is also entirely freestyled, something that Jay claims makes him come off more authentic, and relaxed. Furthermore, it was mixed and mastered entirely by Jay proving that ‘blood.sweat.tears’ is more than just a title. The production is handled by Evan Brown, HVM, and Rey Stacks and features Bodega Bamz, Harlem Beanz, Qu’ality, and Disco Black.
