Justin Bieber has been one of the top artists worldwide since he stepped foot on the scene as a little kid. He has shattered multiple music records and today, he has broke yet another one – no pun intended. DJ Khaled’s record “I’m The One” which features the Canadian singer alongside Lil Wayne, Quavo, and Chance The Rapper took the No. 1 spot a week ago on the Billboard charts. This week, the Biebs is in the top spot again with his feature on Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s remix of “Despacito.”
According to Billboard, no artist has ever taken over the No. 1 spot with two different singles in back to back to weeks. Although many artists have taken the No.1 spot periodically during their careers, no artist has done what Justin just did.
This is Bieber’s fifth No. 1 record and the first for Daddy Yankee and Luis Fonsi.
Huge congrats to Justin Bieber and his team! Check out his tweet below as he recognized his accomplishment.
