Brooklyn-native Kai Ca$h dropped his year-debut, Birth In The Borough, back in August. The nine-track offering gave us a glimpse of what’s ahead for the artist with standout cuts like “Ghost” and “Ransom.” Additionally, it included notable features from established acts like K Wales and Pusha T. Fresh off his release, Kai is back with even more material.
“Tei Zendaui” is an infectious new track that references viral Youtube sensation Tay Zonday, famous for 2007’s “Chocolate Rain.” The song was originally teased by close collaborator King Combs ahead of release and now, it’s finally here for the fans to hear. Throughout the song, the Brooklyn rapper can be heard dropping references and slick bars about women and his fast lifestyle. “I feel like Tay Zonday, I need more than one if you tryna make my day,” he vibrantly raps over the hook.
“The track is just a big lit vibe, it’s one of those records that makes you wanna get up and dance no matter where you hear it, the classic “White Tee” sample makes it easy to gravitate to,” he talks about the track. Check out the song above.
