The soulful singer from Texas has been turning lots of heads lately and he just dropped a bomb that is going to raise his stock even more. Khalid announced that he is embarking on a north american tour titled after his recently released album American Teen.

The 25-date tour is scheduled to kick off July 12 in Portland and continue on throughout the rest of the summer. This will be the second tour that the Texas singer has headlined and we’re sure this wont be the last.

Khalid emerged on to the scene as his first album American Teen jumped the charts when it dropped back in March. It hit the No. 9 spot on the Billboard Hot 200 charts and his breakout single “Location” peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. The soulful record even stirred up a dope remix which featured Lil Wayne and Kehlani. The Texas R&B sensation has had his hand in creating some music with other arists such as Logic, who’s album Everybody is currently holding the No. 1 on the charts. He featured on Logic’s “1-800-273-8255” which featured Alessia Cara as well. Khalid also has a feature on Calvin Harris’ new record “Rollin” which also features Future. The kid is working!
