Superstar running back Le’Veon Bell was in a contract dispute for some time now with his former team the Pittsburg Steelers. So much so, that he decided to sit out an entire football season until he was paid what he felt he was worth. Fortunately for him it worked out in his favor, just not with Pittsburg.
The New York Jets inked the former Michigan State star to a 4 year $52.4 million dollar contract with $35 million guaranteed. He’s definitely been keeping himself busy during his holdout though. Among other things, he dropped his debut mixtape “Life’s a Gamble” on all streaming platforms. I know people are quick to dismiss athletes that create music but this isn’t his first rodeo. He dropped his first single “Target” as well as his first EP “My Side of Things” all in 2018. For somebody who we never knew had this talent, the music isn’t bad at all. I don’t know if he could make a long lasting career in music, but there’s definitely a conversation to be had. The potential is there, especially in the direction music is going.

Congratulations Le’Veon on your new contract & you’re debut mixtape!
