“My goal as an artist is to always make music at the highest quality; I always want to push the culture sonically. I feel like this industry is scared to try & produce different kinds of music. Everyone sticks with the usual 808’s and even though it’s fire, I always strive as an artist to come out my comfort zone. My first single “Insert Title Here” was named that simply because I didn’t want to give it a title. I feel like titles are like label and sometimes ruin the essence of the song. I want people to listen the music & come up with their own title for it,” says LevyGrey.

Born in Harlem, New York, LevyGrey, first discovered his passion for music at a young age. In pursuit of his dreams, Levy began working behind the scenes with DMG Clearances. Through this opportunity, he helped with sample clearances for Kendrick Lamar’s highly proclaimed album To Pimp A Butterfly and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’s mixtape Money Making Mitch. In addition to producing songs with Smoke DZA and Pro Era’s Nyck Caution, Levy has also been involved with the musical scoring on a total of 14 songs from the Netflix original Deuces, along with production of the new film True To The Game and the trailer for Brotherly Love.

Currently, Levy is completing the final touches on his debut EP; which will be out mid 2018. Through the project, he looks to bring a refreshing style into the industry, carrying a unique combination of sounds, melodies, and instrumentals. With his buzz continuing to grow, 2018 will prove why LevyGrey is essential to hip-hop and the music industry as a whole.
