It’s almost been a year since Georgia rapper Lil Nas X dropped his breakout record, shooting through the Billboard charts. “Old Town Road” is certainly an admirable, yet unlikely success that we should all take notes from. The triple-platinum triumph tip-toed along the lines of being a “country rap” record momentarily, which boosted its relevance up a lot. Finally, after several remixes and snippets, Nas treated fans to his 7 EP back in June.

The project spawned Nas’ second hit record “Panini” and features acts like Cardi B and Billy Ray Cyrus. Initially, 7 debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 charts with over 70,000 album units. Fast forward to this week, the project is finally platinum! Are you still jamming 7?
