Waka Flocka Flame Compares Old School With New Age Hip Hop

According to BillBoard, Flame posted this photo comparing the style of Lil Uzi Vert saying “Your Hip Hop” to that of Nas’ saying “My Hip Hop”. In contrast, All Hip Hop shared Tank’s comments defending Lil Uzi and others that have been classified by some as ‘mumble rappers‘.

Currently, according to Hip Hop DX, “I’m The One” is still #1 on Hip Hop charts. This DJ Khaled track also features Quavo, Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper, and Lil Wayne.  Still, Hip Hop DX stated that Lil Uzi’s single is also in the Top 10 on Hip Hop charts. After two weeks in the 11th spot, “XO Tour Llif3” got an increase in sales and broke the Top 10. Further, Bruno Mars’ “24K Magic” has re-entered the Top #10.

And let’s not forget that the genre of Rock (Rock & Roll), was in fact conceived by the likes of black culture, contrary to popular belief; but it is a fact.  So, check yours.  Let Uzi rock. Let Nas do his thing too. Also, let the music win.

The war of modern versus classic rages on.
