A Public Statement or Rolling Up?
Rolling Loud is a 3-day music festival that started in Miami, FL and is now the largest Hip-Hop festival in the world. But if you did not hear, it was a lot going on during the festival this past weekend in Miami Florida. There were multiple shootings and several altercations that broke out occurred which caused people to be sent to hospitals and some to prison. In addition to the madness, Lil Wayne was expected to perform. Fans who were expecting to hear artist were sadly informed as the artist stated to his fans:
To all my fans who came to see me at Rolling Loud, I’m sorry but I won’t be performing. The Festival Police (Not Rolling Loud) made it mandatory that I had to be policed and checked to get on the stadium grounds. I do not and will not ever settle for being policed to do my job

Rolling Loud’s Co-founder Tariq Cherif issued a statement about the security on the festival’s first night after there were false reports of an active shooter. See below:
Maybe next year there will be some structure and security.
