Nas has been keeping himself pretty busy in recent times. From his banger on DJ Khaled’s Major Key to the success of Mass Appeal Magazine, Mr. Jones is making major mogul moves.

The success of his executive-produced Netflix series, The Get Down, still gives him a chance to work the pen, narrating the show as the adult version of the main character: Zeke. Mr. Jones drops “Angel Dust,” one of the many joints heard throughout the series.

The Gil Scott-Heron-sampled record follows the narrative of The Get Down, depicting the dirty world of drugs in the 1980s. Even though the song is less than two minutes, more of a verse, it seems like it’s enough to keep rabid fans waiting just a tad bit longer. It could also make those same fans more antsy than they already were.

Season 1, Part 2 of The Get Down can be found right now on Netflix. At this point, I think we need to call DJ Khaled to see if Nas’ album is REALLY done.
