Maryland rapper Logic just released his third studio effort and it has been racking in some great reviews from music connoisseurs everywhere. Aside from it being an exceptionally great body of work, it looks like he’s about to make his way to the charts. Billboard reports that the DMV artist can be stealing the No. 1 spot this week as his Everybody album is projected to move at least 210K. This will give Logic his first No. 1 ever.

The DMV musician came close to taking the No. 1 spot a while back when he dropped The Incredible True Story which is without a doubt an amazing project. That landed No. 3 on the charts racking in about 135K in it’s first week. His debut album Under Pressure  moved about 100K in it’s first week. With all that being said, Logic hasn’t had a bad track record as far as album sales go.

Although his albums, including this most recent drop has had the success of a man who is versatile and lyrically talented, Logic is looking to completely retire his jersey after his next album. The last song on Everybody which is “AfricAryaN” states that at the end of the record. The Maryland native sat down with Genius and explained why he is deciding to drop one last album and step away from the game.

“That’s going to be the last one. Everything with my life has been so fucking serious and it’s been a fucking message,” Logic explained. “And that’s not to say there won’t be a message and whatever, but I just want to end everything with a really big bang and get the fuck out of here. Better to go out on top like Jerry Seinfeld, nine seasons, No. 1 fucking show in the world, over a billion dollars. I’d rather do that.”
