Three days ago, Irv Gott announced on Instagram that he has connected with 300 Entertainment to relaunch Murder Inc.
BET shared some details of Irv’s announcement shortly after he’d published it on Saturday, May 27th. Irv has relaunched Murder Inc. with his former business partners, Kevin Liles and Lyor Cohen. Liles and Cohen are two of the founders of 300 Entertainment. The 300 Entertainment label roster includes Artists such as Migos, Young Thug, and Fetty Wap.
Additionally, though, Gotti mentioned some of the other key players in the major move, including his own Artists.
Boogiie Byrd and Fitted Circle will be featured on the Irv Gotti Presents Music Inspired By Tales album according to VIBE. Furthermore, Gotti teases another Artist that will be announced soon. Byrd hails from Washington, D.C. and the Atlanta-based duo, Fitted Circle, St. Louis as stated in Complex. Gotti says there is not yet a date for the album inspired by his new show, Tales, though.
Check out the single from Fitted Circle, “Low 4 Me”. The single will be featured on the “Trap Queen” episode of Tales. As previously shared here on RAPFEST- Tales airs on BET on June 27th.
Murda Inc. was a major force in the music game in the early 2000s in agreement with VH1’s statements. Ja Rule and Ashanti gave us major jams, including, “Always On Time”, which landed the two at #1 on Bill Board’s Hot 100 chart.
On top of that, “I’m Real”, Ja Rule featuring Jennifer Lopez, also hit the #1 spot on Bill Board’s Hot 100. Though, J. Lo was not signed to the Murda Inc. label.
That said, “MURDAAAAA”.
