Last year, Nas linked up with DJ Khaled for a feature on Khaled’s album Major Key. On the album, Nas blessed it with his solo song titled “Nas Album Done.” Now, although fans have been waiting for Nas to drop this album that he stated was finished, it looks like there may be some truth to that statement after all.

On May 21, Jungle, the brother of the QueensBridge MC posted a picture on his Instagram of him and Nas with a caption that read “@nas Studio.. #NasAlbumAlmostDone #HipHop #QueensBridge #NYC.”

Nas did an interview about a month ago where he confirmed that his forthcoming project will indeed be dropping this year. His last album which was 2012’s Life Is Good has been labeled as one of his best albums to date.

There isn’t any conformations as to when the album will be dropping but it’s very clear that it is almost done and it will definitely be coming soon. Let’s hope it’ll come during the summer!

In addition to the release of his solo album, Nas will have a guest feature of DJ Khaled’s next album Grateful which is slated to drop next month. The album already has some amazing features from Quavo, Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, Chance The Rapper, Beyonce, Jay Z and Drake. Esco will be in good company as he will be joining a top tier guest feature list.
