The iconic Queens rapper, Nas, pairs the opening track, “No Bad Energy,” off his The Lost Tapes 2 album with cinematic visuals – unveiled today via Mass Apeal Records. The AraabMUZIK and Swizz Beatz produced cut boasts angelic synths and laid back drums that paint the backdrop for the Vincent Lou directed video .

Minimalistic, at best, the video centers on Nas who is seen draped in red threads, sitting atop an all-white piano in an airy, heaven-like setting. With a glass of red wine in one hand, as he live his best life, Nas raps about dismissing his skeptics, reminding us of his million records sold, blowing a check, and more. Reminiscing on his come-up throughout his storied career, Nas advises to bring “no bad energy” and for listeners to “be the best you.”

There’s even sage on deck in the closing scenes, as it’s used to smudge the room – cleansing the space of bad energy.
