What Did I Tell You!?! More 🔥 Than The Season Itself!
Nobody saw this coming. I never heard or saw one rumor about Paul George potentially showing interest in or Pacers President Kevin Pritchard having any discussions with the Thunder about potential trades or anything like that. But, baseball isn’t the only place where you see curveballs being thrown.

So basically, the Thunder finally got a viable replacement for Kevin Durant in exchange for 2 players who’s talent combined don’t equal half the talent they lost when they lost Durant. Meanwhile in Indiana…

Safe to say, they’re tanking. However, on the Thunder side, three things have to be noticed.
- Russell Westbrook is about to EAT…even more. (This is triple-double Westbrook, not 50 shot taking every game Westbrook. Only some games.)
- Paul George STILL might go to the Lakers next year. This is no longer as likely to happen as it was previously but, it can still happen. This man really, really loves L.A. He’s actually joining another L.A. native that was rumored to be considering the Lakers. He’s a free agent next year, as well. So, for all we know…
Paul George is going to the Thunder so he can recruit Westbrook to the Lakers. That’s commitment.

3. They’re still losing to the Warriors, if they get there. Houston & San Antonio will have something to say about that. I’m not trying to kill Thunder fans’ joy but, it needed to be said.
This move is great for parity in the NBA which is something that NBA fans have lamented about ever since the morning of July 4, 2016 when Kevin Durant joined the Golden State Warriors. Now, if the Thunder can get a shooting guard that can actually shoot besides Anthony Morrow, now they can really be somewhat of a threat. In other words, get J.J. Redick.
It’s heating up out here. Teams are trying their hardest to make the Warriors have some competition this year. Free Agency period did not even start yet and major moves are being made with more moves to come…
*P.S: Blake Griffin signed a 5-year extension with the Clippers. With no Chris Paul, he’s going to finally handle the ball more. Chris Paul wasn’t having that. We’ll see if Chris Paul was on to something this whole time.
Blake Griffin’s deal reportedly worth 5 yrs-$175M would be the highest total value and average annual value in NBA history ($35M per season)

Jeff Teague agrees to go to the Timberwolves. The starting lineup will probably be: Teague, Wiggins, Butler, Dieng, and Towns. That’s a very interesting lineup…
Jeff Teague commits to sign with Wolves. Teague, Butler, Wiggins, Towns. The Timberwolves are going to be a PROBLEM next season.
