As stated in Footwear News, Kendrick Lamar first assisted in the design of multiple Reebok sneakers, including the Classic Leather, Club C, and Ventilator. Further, Lamar is recognized for emphasizing unity between gangs with his designs for Reebok. Now, Nike has linked up with the lyricist. He is said to have been spotted in the “Just Do It” brand throughout his DAMN. Tour appearances. Specifically, the Cortez shoe. According to Hypebeast, Lamar even appears in the Cortez sneakers in his music video for his single, “Element”.

Additionally, Kobe Bryant even challenged Lamar to use this new Nike endorsement deal to “revolutionize the music program at Centennial High School” according to The Fader.
So, Kendrick Lamar’s Reebok deal seems to be no more, but he continues to keep his hand in the shoe game with this new Nike deal. Ultimately, though, we have to wait for more details from the Compton rapper.
