Chris Bivins, originally from Howard County, Maryland, has evolved into a creative powerhouse of his own in the entertainment and music industry particularly Black Entertainment Television (BET).  In 2014, the he headlined the BET College Tour recap show and performed on the 106 & Park stage. Right before the tour he had his first child, but that did not stop him from rising to stardom. He became one of four musicians featured on the hit CW network show The Next, where he made connections with experienced names in music like Gloria Estefan and John Rich. Soon after, he became the official protégé of Award-Winning Artist Nelly and Nelly became his personal mentor. After the #BETCollegeTour, he was afforded his own web series Flava Zone. He stated he met so many people and connections which landed him now as one of BET Producers & Editor.

As entertainment has been on the rise, Chris music has been on the rise as well. Recently, he released his new album titled “9 Lives” which describes how having at least 9 hustles has led him to success. The vibe the album is inspired by the late Michael Jackson. One of the singles “Hard to Love You Sober“, describes his former relationship was toxic and how he had only could communicate with his partner only when he was intoxicated.
