It doesn’t seem like Hov can do no wrong. What more does one need? Although we can assure you that Jay-Z wasn’t chasing the high success of his newly released album 4:44, that didn’t stop people from buying, streaming, and feeding into the hype after Jigga came off of a three year album hiatus. With all that being said, the RIAA has just announced early this morning that Hov’s 13th studio effort is officially platinum.

4:44 reaching platinum status means that all of Hov’s solo albums including his joint album with Kanye have sold over a million and with that accomplishment, he has more platinum albums than any other hip-hop artist. The heavily stressed economical and black ownership-inspired album shows that Jay-Z is not only fighting for what he believes in but he’s giving people the information to understanding how important investing and being a black owner is.

After 20 plus years of smashing the industry musically and on the business and board room side, Hov seems to accomplish things effortlessly by showing that one can rap and still make executive moves outside of the booth. It’s just amazing how this guy doesn’t seem to let up.
