OYABUN, the name referring to “the father” a Japanese etymology also meaning an absolute leader of a Yakuza clan, has released his debut album – the 7 track project NVRLND through Empire distribution.

A Brooklyn bred OYABUN is out to build his name in the industry.  Setting himself apart, NVRLND is the first of a trilogy of EPs that introduce you to OYABUN’s world; a modern Garden of Eden fueled with equal parts pleasure and pain. The heart thumping beat of “Castle On The Hill” and heavy synths of the anthemic “No Sides” lure you in immediately, and solidify OYABUN’s emotive style.

The EP takes an introspective turn with the songs “Stay Young” and “Pixie Dust”, showcasing OYABUN’s electrifying presence, and bringing a fresh approach to both the rap and R&B realms.

Is OYABUN’s shadowy NVRLND an escape from reality or will he get lost in paradise?  Check out the private link HERE and let us know your thoughts. #YouShouldListen
