A producer since the age of 17, Chase N. Cashe has gone on to create critically acclaimed records such as the quadruple platinum single “Drop The World” (Lil Wayne feat. Eminem, ReBirth 2010) and “Look What You’ve Done”, the heartfelt track from Grammy Award-winning Album of the Year, Take Care (Drake, 2011). Having producer credits with everyone from Beyonce (“Rise” – Epic Soundtrack) to J. Cole (“Neverland”) to Brandy and The Pussycat Dolls, Chase has also released a number of solo and collaboration albums of his own, including the most recent “The Black Jesus” EP with Jansport J.

Born Jesse Woodard IV from New Orleans, LA., Chase N. Cashe developed a love for music in middle school. A self taught musician, Chase’s first song was recorded in 2001 and his first beat created in 2003. Shortly after surviving Hurricane Katrina, Chase moved to Los Angeles where he met fellow producer Chauncey “Hit-Boy” Hollis and formed Surf Club, the team behind “Drop The World” and Brandy’s “1st & Love”. The duo went on to sign a production deal with Zone 4 Inc., founded by Atlanta’s super producer Polow Da Don, backed by Interscope Records.

A master on the boards and in the booth, Chase released his debut album Gumbeaux in 2011, which was shortly followed by a steady flow of releases including The Heir Up There hosted by DJ Drama (2012), CHARM (2012), The Best There Is… (2014) , The Heir Up There 2 (2016), La Playa (2016), Cashe Rules 2 (2016) and his latest EP, We Never Close (2016) featuring the popular street single “Can’t Go Backwards”. Chase was selected as a solo opening act on Drake’s “Club Paradise” Tour w/ A$AP Rocky & Kendrick Lamar in 2012 and later went on to earn a spot in XXL’s Unsigned Hype.

With the ability to combine his wisdom with an open minded approach to sharing his creative energy, it is no mistake that Chase has an ear and eye for who and what’s next. Chase’s intent is to bring new & old styles and sounds together to create a world that’s attractive for all lovers of art.

After dropping the Matrix inspired tune “Reporting Live” in late February, New Orleans’ very own Chase N. Cashe has returned with the exuberant yet glitchy music video for the track.
