Between getting ready for the third season of his web series ‘Old Head’, playing legendary singer Teddy Pendergrass in the upcoming documentary “Teddy Pendergrass: You Don’t Know Me”, and running his youth center, Young With Options, Philly artist DAPPA is always on the go! But I got the opportunity to catch up with him to discuss the visual for his latest track “Touchin’ Bases” which features Midwest lyricist Stalley and comedian Rich Dollaz.

Usually using his music to address serious issues in our community, DAPPA chose to keep it fun and lite on this track. After building a relationship with Stalley, which began when DAPPA was a student at Temple University, the opportunity for the two emcees to collaborate finally presented itself. Stalley felt the track so much he sent it back within a day of receiving it. The two artists linked up in Atlanta to shoot the video where DAPPA described it as “just a good vibe and positive energy”. Rich Dollarz sets the tone with a comedic opening scene as DAPPA guides us through a house of beautiful women only there for a good time. Shot in one take, the vibes for the video were clearly just as chill and playful as the song!

Check out the exclusive premiere of DAPPA featuring Stalley new visual “Touchin’ Bases” then head over to DAPPA’s IG and let him know what you think of the new video!
