Back in 2015, G.O.O.D. Music President Pusha T dropped King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude and that helped position him as a force to be reckoned with. Although he has been dropping solo projects for a while, he is officially breaking into his own not just as the president of the popular label but as a musical genius. During an Adidas event the “Grindin'” rapper sat in an interview where he said his forthcoming album King Push is “85 percent done.”

“I’m going to say it’s about 85 percent done,” Pusha T said. “That’s a confident 85 percent. That’s a strong 85 percent. Great lyrics, great beats. Beats are phenomenal. It’s wrap time.”

When asked about the production of the album and who has their hands in the sound, Pusha responded by name dropping his fellow MC and friend who is also currently working on some new music.

“It’s mostly Kanye West … great super producer beats.”
