New Jersey artist, Kev Rodgers, released a smooth record for his female fans called”Is It Real.” As Rodgers and Kenif Muse were inspired by R&B legend Bobby Brown‘s hit-record “Don’t Be Cruel,” this was a dedication to the track they had produced. The record for Rodgers was fun but nostalgic. He feels he should get his sound to a more vintage yet modern at the same time. When playing his music, his female friends had feedback about making music for women who feel good about themselves. So that’s what he was going for. The beat was elevated and curated great vibes as well.

As a transparent artist and producer who Is known for co-producing Jaden Smith hit single “Icon” off of his debut album, SYRE, that is where he began producing at the age of 14 by balancing his talent with rapping skills.
