’90s nostalgia has been an uprising trend in the streetwear and athletic apparel realms in recent years and Reebok has been at the forefront of providing the masses with quality footwear that both provides both on-court performance capabilities and ’90s aesthetic. Now, the UK-based athletic apparel company has officially unveiled and released a stylistically recognizable silhouette in the Reebok Mobius OG.
Reebok’s found recent success in the re-release of the Allen Iverson x Reebok Collection and recently began revisiting some of Shaquille O’neal’s hottest signature silhouettes which has allowed the brand to curate a sneaker inspired by The Reebok Shaqnosis, Reebok Kamikaze II, and Reebok Blast in the Reebok Mobius OG.
The sneaker features a buttery, tumbled mid-cut leather base complete with a conventional lacing system, breathable mesh tongue, and perforated curvaceous freeform leather overlays. While embroidered Reebok branding hit the toe box of the sneaker as well as the lateral heel midsole, lateral quarter panels, and tongues. As a thick cushioned midsole, textile canvas heel pull tab, and grip-patterned outsole close out the performance sneaker.
Rebook Classics introduced the unisex silhouette through a series of visuals featured at Holcombe Rucker Park in Harlem and now you can find the entire Reebok Mobius OG Collection alongside matching apparel at select Reebok retailers and online at Reebok.com for a retail price tag of $140.
